Barrelproof created a complete signature serve and photography concept for Bobby’s Gin, translating the brand’s Indonesian-Dutch heritage into flavour, styling and visual identity. Classic cocktail structures were reimagined with Bobby’s distinctive DNA: spice, citrus, warmth and character. What we've been asked to do
Bobby’s Gin asked Barrelproof to develop and capture a complete set of signature serves that could support the brand across trade communication, sales presentations, website use and international markets.
The objective was to create 14 classic cocktail serves with a clear Bobby’s twist: 8 serves for Bobby’s Schiedam Dry Gin, 3 for Bobby’s Schiedam Jenever and 3 for Bobby’s Pinang Raci Spice Blend. Each drink was built from a recognisable classic cocktail structure, then refined through Bobby’s flavour DNA: spice, warmth, citrus, aromatics and a strong sense of Indonesian-Dutch heritage.
What We Did
Barrelproof reviewed the Bobby’s portfolio, researched relevant classic serves and created a focused drink structure around three key drinking moments: brunch, aperitif and digestif.
From there, we developed a set of cocktails that were simple enough to execute in the on-trade, but distinctive enough to feel unmistakably Bobby’s. The serves were shaped through flavour, garnish, glassware and presentation, always with the brand’s look and feel in mind.
After the serve development, Barrelproof produced the cocktail photography in our studio. The shoot was styled around the same three drinking occasions, giving each moment its own atmosphere while keeping the full image set consistent, recognisable and commercially useful.
The end result
The final result is a complete set of Bobby’s signature serves and photography that brings the brand story to life in both flavour and image.
The drinks are practical for bartenders, clear for sales teams and strong enough to support Bobby’s communication across multiple markets.
The photography gives the serves a premium visual identity, translating Bobby’s colourful, spiced and aromatic character into content that feels confident, distinctive and ready for the on-trade.
